PARENT FAQ: WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM YOUR MINISTRY?

Here at 360, our goal is to minister to your High School daughter or son.  Here are a few things you can expect from us:

  1. 1)Concern, care, and acceptance or your daughter/son as a person regardless of their background, ethnicity, gender, height, weight, hair color or . . . well . . . you get the idea.

  1. 2)Teaching principles that are based on the Bible and making them relevant to where they are in life and the situations they find themselves in.

  1. 3)Encourage for your son/daughter to be themselves because God loves them for who they are and so do we!

Because every student is different and has different tastes in fun and friends, some may not click with us right away.  However, we’ve found that the more students have come, the more they have grown to be part of 360. It is open to any Senior High students in 9th thru 12th grade!

If you have any other questions, or if you have any thoughts/ideas regarding our ministry to your son/daughter, feel free to email Jason anytime!  jasondomingo@minookabible.org

STUDENT FAQ: WHO COMES TO 360 AND WHAT’S IT LIKE?

BIBLE FAQ: WHAT’S THE BIBLE ALL ABOUT?

Imagine that you got a letter from someone that you really really cared about. You probably wouldn’t just throw it away or burn it or toss it in the toilet. Why? Because it  not only has important stuff contained in it.

That’s kind of like the Bible. Although it was written by a bunch of different people, God inspired these people to write it so that we could have it today. It is how God communicates all the important things we need to know about life and how to live it to the fullest.

RELIGION FAQ:  IS CHRISTIANITY THE ONYL WAY TO GOD?

YES. At least that’s what the Bible teaches, and because God wrote the Bible, we believe that all of it is true. Jesus says that He and Only He is “the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).” No one can get to God except through Him.

The word “Christian” means “follower of Christ.” Christ died to pay for all of the wrong things we’ve done and so we can have a relationship with God.

SALVATION FAQ:  HOW CAN I BECOME A CHRISTIAN?

  1. 1)REALIZE THAT YOU ARE SINNER. Sin is anything that we do that goes against God. Because our great grandfather Adam sinned in the Garden of Eden, we are all born sinners. The problem is that sin separates us from a friendship with God, and because of it, we will eventually die. (Romans 3:23; 6:23)

  1. 2)RECOGNIZE THAT JESUS, GOD’S SON, DIES FOR OUR SINS. Even before we were born, God sent Hid son Jesus to die on a cross for our sins. After being in the grave for 3 days, he came back form the dead. He was perfect, and was the only acceptable sacrifice for our sins. (Romans 5:8)

  1. 3)REPENT OF YOUR SINS AND BELIEVE IN JESUS. To repent means to ask for forgiveness for the wrong things you’ve done and to try to do them anymore. When we do this, God forgives us. If we believe in our hearts that Jesus is the one who saved us and that He is alive today, you will be saves! ! !

The best thing to so after this is to get plugged into a church where you can be encouraged by other Christians. Welcome to God’s family!
