* To provide an opportunity to connect with other believers in community.

* To provide opportunities for meaningful prayer and praise.

* To encourage each person to study and apply God's truth: spiritual growth.

* To encourage members to reach out with the message of Christ by serving one another, the community, and the world

Biblical Principles for Real Life Small Groups:
* Grace is opposed to earning, not to effort. (John 14:21)

* God uses people to bring grace and transformation. (Eph. 4:16; 1 Peter 4:10)

* God's plan for the church is oneness and the world is watching. (John 17:20-21)

At MBC, we hope that small groups will help you “work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.” (Phil. 2:12-13)
