This high-energy recreation-based ministry, for children in Kindergarten through 5th Grade, introduces children to Jesus Christ and encourages them to grow to be more like Him.  TEAMKID presents lessons through foundational Bible stories – in large and small group formats. TeamKid will resume in September.

Every part of TEAMKID – Bible stories, Scripture memory, life application and recreation – all connect to teach life lessons to kids.  As important as it is, TEAMKID is designed for children to do more than memorize Scripture.  It helps children understand what the verses they memorize mean and connect them to their life, character, and behavior – because every part of the TEAMKID night is focused on a single Bible message.  The Bible story, memory verse, recreation, and songs all contribute to help children understand and apply God’s Word.

Like many children’s ministries, TEAMKID offers an incentive program that recognizes each child for attending, completing Bible-related work, bringing friends, and more.   But, at TEAMKID, it’s not done in a way that’s competitive – accomplishments are not compared to others.  Children earn personal points that they can redeem for fun items in the TEAMKID Store – to keep, or give away as a gift.

TEAMKID meets every Wednesday evening from 6:30pm to 8:00pm, September through April.  There is a one-time $10 annual fee per child to simply cover the cost of materials.  A Registration Form is located at the Information Counter or online.

We DO still need volunteers – with a variety of gifts and degrees of availability to staff this ministry.  Some areas we could use assistance with are:  prayers for Leaders and children, scorekeeping (weekly verse, attendance, homework…), copying, greeters, taking pictures/filming special activities, maintaining TeamKID bulletin board, restocking supplies, ordering store items, planning family outreach activities and theme nights, small group co-leaders...  Please prayerfully consider helping this ministry – it will be a life changing experience!
